EP 69: The #1 Tool I Use with My Clients to Get Them Results

Hello, beautiful soul! Welcome back to another episode of Breathe More. Today, I want to share some reflections after returning from the We All Grow conference—a gathering that holds a special place in my heart. This network, the largest Latina community in the U.S., was where my journey into breathwork truly began.
Back in 2017, I received my first big break when I was accepted to facilitate breathwork at their inaugural Wellness Day. It was a transformative experience for me and the hundred people I guided. For many attendees, that single breathwork session became a pivotal moment in their lives, sparking a shift they didn’t know was possible. It fills my heart with gratitude to witness how this practice has profoundly impacted others, allowing them to connect with their breath and, consequently, themselves.
Fast forward to last week—I was moved to hear many familiar faces thank me for the difference my work has made in their lives. Some reminisced about the community gatherings I hosted during the pandemic, a safe space where we could breathe, be in community, and process those challenging times together. It was a beautiful reminder of the journey we've been on and the healing power of breathwork.
From Healing to Service
Over ten years ago, I discovered breathwork, a practice that shifted the trajectory of my life. Before this, I struggled with high-functioning anxiety, often unaware of its impact on my well-being. Symptoms manifested physically, affecting my sleep and digestion, but they were just dismissed as “normal” within my family. It wasn't until I experienced the depths of anxiety and depression that I began to unpack these layers in therapy.
My journey included working with an incredible therapist who introduced me to various healing modalities, including trauma release exercises. It was during this exploration that I discovered breathwork. The transformation I experienced was profound. Not only did it accelerate my healing, but it also ignited a passion within me to share this powerful tool with others.
Through my training, I quickly found myself facilitating breathwork sessions, starting with my sister and a few friends. The results were remarkable. Watching them connect with their emotions and release pent-up energy opened my eyes to the healing potential of this practice.
The Power of Breathwork
So why does breathwork hold such transformative power? Breathwork is an active form of meditation that allows us to manipulate our breath to alter our emotional state. In moments of stress or anxiety, we’re often told to "take a deep breath." This advice is rooted in truth. By focusing on our breath, we create a disruption in our current mental state, shifting our nervous system from a state of high alert to one of calmness.
In my sessions, we take it further. We engage in a structured breathing pattern that involves both diaphragm and heart breathing, combined with music therapy. This creates a space for you to safely process emotions, gain clarity, and release what no longer serves you. It’s about more than just breathing; it’s about reconnecting with yourself and your body.
I integrate my intuitive gifts into these sessions, guiding you through your breathwork experience and providing insights that can illuminate the parts of you that need attention. Together, we explore what beliefs and stories are ready to be healed, helping to create new neurological pathways that foster lasting change.
Let’s Breathe Together!
In the wake of the past few years, many of us feel overwhelmed and lost. We’ve experienced collective trauma, and the chaos of the world around us can leave us feeling disconnected and fearful. That’s why I’m excited to return to the basics with breathwork workshops over the next few weeks.
Join me for a virtual session, an in-person gathering in Los Angeles, or a weekend retreat in Joshua Tree—each designed to help you reclaim your power, connect with your breath, and manifest your desires.
Guided Breathwork Practice
To conclude today’s reflection, I’d like to guide you through a short breathwork practice. Whether you’re seated or standing, let’s take a moment to ground ourselves.
1. Close your eyes if you can, or soften your gaze.
2. Take a deep inhale through your nose, filling your lungs.
3. Exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension.
4. Repeat this a few times, allowing your body to relax and release.
As you breathe, envision roots growing from your feet or the base of your spine, anchoring you to the earth. Feel the support around you. Let go of any burdens you’re carrying—your worries, your doubts, any energy that doesn’t belong to you.
Imagine creating space for your desires. What do you want to manifest in your life? Embrace that feeling of worthiness, and remind yourself that you are deserving of all good things.
As we conclude this practice, take a final deep breath in, and exhale gently. Wiggle your fingers and toes, and when you’re ready, open your eyes. How do you feel?
Isn’t it amazing how simple and powerful it can be to connect with our breath? This is just a taste of what we can explore together in my upcoming workshops. I invite you to sign up, and let’s breathe together in this magical journey of healing and empowerment.
Sending you all my love and gratitude. I can’t wait to hold space for you soon!
