EP 92: The Moment Everything Shifted

Twelve years ago, I looked like I had it all together.

I was always smiling. Always achieving. Always available.

But inside? I was anxious, over-functioning, and constantly on edge.


I never fully celebrated my accomplishments, just moved right on to the next goal.

And I was afraid to slow down, because I thought everything I had built would crumble if I did.Even though I was “successful,” I was still living in survival mode.


Before this chapter of my life, I was a commercial actress.

Which meant I got to experience rejection nearly every single day.

I’d cry in my car between auditions, wondering when I’d finally book something that made it all worth it.(By the way—I did work a lot. But it never felt like enough. It never felt like peace.)

I was living by the rules of perfectionism and “good girl” conditioning…and slowly losing touch with myself in the process.


I didn’t know how to slow down.

I didn’t know how to ask for help.

I didn’t know that the anxiety wasn’t who I was.


It was just the state my nervous system had normalized.

Then… I found breathwork.

Or maybe, it found me.


That first session cracked something open.

I didn’t have to talk it out or push through.

I just had to breathe and let my body lead.

It was raw, emotional (picture me ugly crying on the floor in a room full of strangers), and powerful in a way I had never experienced before.


And it was the beginning of everything.

My healing.

My career shift.

My business.

My joy.


This year, I’m celebrating 10 years of running my own coaching and healing practice, supporting high-performing, big-hearted humans to regulate their nervous systems and finally experience the kind of success that doesn’t come at the cost of their well-being.


And now… I’m here, with you.

On a new platform, Substack.

With a new intention.
