What’s Self-Love and why is it important?

There’s a lot of talk about self-love, but what exactly is it? Self-love is showing love to yourself, which can mean different things to different people. It means doing things that support your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It means taking care of your needs and not sacrificing yourself to please others. It means talking to yourself in a kind way, forgiving yourself, trusting yourself, and feeling confident about yourself.
