Before we fire up our grills for Memorial Day and spend the day partying or resting as we enjoy this day off from work, let’s take a moment to think about all people who have served our country. And this being the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m also thinking of their mental health and their family’s mental well-being.
According to the VA, 41% of veterans have a mental illness. Military suicides increased 20% last year.
