Hiking is good for heart & mind - Malibu Creek State Park

Hiking is one of my favorite things to do. But it’s also my medicine. Whenever I’m feeling anxious and stressed, I put on my hiking shoes (love my Salomon shoes) and I go into nature.

Being surrounded by natural beauty immediately helps me put things into perspective. I remember that what’s currently stressing me out will get resolved and I will overcome it.

Plus, physically my brain is releasing endorphins, my blood pressure is lowering…I’m feeling strong and confident as I run up a hill 🙃.

By the end of my hike, I’m grateful for such a beautiful life.

LA folx, go hit some trails right now…it’s still so green, there are flowers everywhere, and the animals are loving the abundance of food. During today’s hike I saw baby ducks, coyote, snake, lots of lizards, a ton of birds and bees, caterpillar, bugs, ground squirrels…so much life. 🙏🏼💕🌳🐿️🐍
