Let’s talk about one of my favorite self-care rituals: bathing! 🛀 As a California resident, I understand the importance of conserving water during the drought, so I don't indulge in this often. However, when I get the chance (especially when traveling), I make it count! And you better believe that I travel with my favorite bath salts!
Here are a couple of reasons why I love taking a bath:
1️⃣ Stress be gone: A warm bath with salt helps my body let go of the day's tension. It's like my spa retreat, right at home!
2️⃣ Aromatherapy: I love adding a few drops of essential oils into the water. Some of my favorites are rose, eucalyptus, and lavender. I've also been experimenting with herbs, like marjoram, to detoxify my body.
3️⃣ Silence: When it's bath time, I like to keep things quiet. No distractions, no music. It's just me, my thoughts, and some well-deserved stillness.
4️⃣ Move energy: I like incorporating breathwork into my bath routine whenever I need to process an emotion. It's so cool how you feel the vibrations of your body in the water when you actively breathe.
